We don't have time to go into details but Faith made it through the surgery ok. As you can tell she is very swollen and having a difficult time managing the pain (she is on a lot of drugs but it is difficult for her to adjust to breathing from her neck). She is going to be on the ventilator for the weekend as she recoups. We will post more tonight.

Thanks for you prayers!

Bless her heart! She still looks good guys and she will learn how to breath air through the trach. We called MAry last night and got details.

I am sorry she is going through so much pain..I ask God to help her through with as little or no pain as possible.

I pray for you two. I know it is so hard to sit and see your daughter in so much pain and you feel helpless BUT you two are helping her by your LOVE!

Hang in there guys and get some rest.

Its another day closer to her homecoming and what a celebration that will be!

Love to you all!

We've been thinking about you and Faith, and are glad to hear that she came through the surgery fine. I would imagine that most people (including kids) are in some pain after a surgery. It will take a few days, but I am sure you will see a huge difference soon... You both have so much courage. We'll continue to send you good vibes. Our thoughts are with you...

Hang in there,

OK, I cried when I saw her, but I can tell from baby Faith's face that she's determined, fiercely determined to live fully ... that's what we pray for, that she'll be healthy and live fully after all these hospital visits.

She's such a sweetheart, and we pray she's not in pain through the recovery. We KNOW she'll do well.
