Welcome to Respiratory Season!

Can you guess where we are???

Y'up. We're at our second home, the hospital.

Faith took a turn for the worse today and continued to go downhill respiratory wise. She was cranky, dusky, and really working to breathe.

She is normally on 1/2 liter of oxygen sating 98%- she is now requiring twice the amount (1 liter) and in the low 90's (which isn't bad..but not herself...) we've increased her vent settings and she's still really working to breathe. She is now receiving IV we're bunkering down for the weekend.

Right now we are in the Emergency Deparment waiting for a room in the PICU.

Lot's of other things to say....but too tired explain it all.

We'll keep you updated.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Faith has a speedy recovery and that the stay in the hospital is short.

Good luck to you, your husband and Faith!
