We are starting to feel like Job!

Lately when it rains, it pours (which is literally happening in Colorado right now!) and today was another monsoon. Faith had an eye exam today- she needs another eye surgery. :( Lately we've been feeling like our prayers have gone unanswered but as you know His ways our not our ways- perhaps this is the reason why Faith has been staying on the ventilator. If she did get off of it last week, she would have to be reintubated for the surgery again- so maybe this is just saving us more heartbreak. It is very unfortunate Faith has to go through another surgery- but we'll tell you what- she's one tough cookie. The plan is to have the surgery within the next week. They are also keeping her on the vent for another week- if she pulls her tube out the tube is going right back in. Her airways need time to heal. It is sad seeing her on the ventilator- as she is getting bigger she looks so uncomfortable. They are giving her Tylenol and morphine when she needs it. Thank you for continue to lift up Faith in prayer- as the song goes we are going to "praise Him in this storm."
Brian and Jen

PS: "Don't tell God how big your storm is, tell the storm how BIG your God is." (Thanks Aunt Susan!)

I am Susan's sister and I have been checking in on Faith's progress. I sense your frustration in feeling like prayers are unanswered. We just don't know God's plan or timing, but I do know that your daughter is inspirational. She is teaching us all to keep fighting and that life is worth fighting for. My husband and I are in a bible study and we all prayed for God's healing hand on Faith and that you are all comforted. Please know that there are Californians praying for you all too.

Jen, Brian and Faith..THANK YOU for having this video on here. I was "aweeeeeeeing" through the whole thing. PURE innocence and PURE Faith! I SEE hope in that sweet babies eyes and I see what TRUE Faith is all about! Gods timing is a tough one sometimes but we must have FAITH to understand that His timing isnt always ours. (though it frustrates us at times) I would rather have Gods timing than ours ..He KNOWS what he is doing better than I! If I could take any pain or frustration away to ease yours or Faiths I would take it in heart beat if God would let me...I know you know that! If I could take Faiths place, I would in a heart beat BUT GOd has MUCH bigger plans for her. He KNOWS the plans and we know God has the BEST plans of all! She has already touched so many lives with the fact that she fights to live and she will continue to do that to show people what FAITH TRUELLY IS! ALL of you are inspiration to so many! Take a deep breath and KNOW GOD IS NEAR!
I love you and you know you can call on me ANYTIME !
I will pray for y'all and God to send comfort and continue to send HOPE to y'all.
The definition of Faith is this:

belief and trust in and loyalty to God ; firm belief in something for which there is no proof ; complete trust.

Need I say more? Faith Edona Reming will show all what TRUE faith means.

I love you so.........

When you walk through a storm
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark.
At the end of a storm is a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of a lark.
Walk on through the wind,
Walk on through the rain,
Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown.
Walk on, walk on with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone,
You'll never walk alone.

I'm an email friend of Susan's and I have been praying for your family. I have a 6 year old daughter named "Miracle" that "isn't supposed to be here" by doctor's standards. We know our God is bigger than any trial we face. Please know that you are not alone in your prayers. Many of us are joining with you! And God hears our prayers! I could write an entire book on the way God holds us during these storms (and maybe some day I will) but for now, I will just tell you, BE ENCOURAGED!!! The same God that created the universe, knit Faith together in your womb. He has wonderful plans for this child. Trust that. Trust Him. With continued, fervent prayers, Heather Arnold
