I don't wanna see!!!!

Something tells me we are going to see more of this look in the future (especially in the teen years.....)
No she's not smiling in this picture....she is having a meltdown. Glasses and babies just don't mix- at least at first. Faith finally got her glasses this week. It's going to be an adjustment. Not only the fact that she has to get used to something around her face (which she is very hyper sensitive about...) but she has it get used to seeing a whole new world. A lot of people comment to us how they think Faith's vision is better than the docs say..we agree to some extent but we also think Faith has learned to cope with her vision loss. She has exceptional hearing and smiles big whenever she hears a familiar voice. The glasses have opened up a whole new world for her. It's going to take a while but just like she's gotten used to all her extra hardware we know she'll cope with this!
Thanks for checking in!

She looks great, tell her Her AUnt says so!

My mom said my sister had them at a VERY young age and it took some time. BUT she wanted to sleep in them as she was finally able to see things in her crib she couldnt before! So this will happen for Faith too!

BLESS HER HEART! She is independent in her own way and a fighter..she WILL get through this as well!

We love and miss you! Keep showing them FAith!

That look Faith is giving her daddy is like this:

You HAVE GOT to be kidding!

She is so cute in ehr glasses. My sister had them about at the age of 1 or 2,cant remember and eventually she did not want them off as she could see things in her crib that she couldnt before (my mom relayed to me)

She will eventually realize that things are prettier, brighter and there are beautiful things in the world to see.

God bless y'all and keep up the good work.

Michelle will start volunteering at North Central Baptist Hospital in the Childrens section . She will be in the playroom for the kids, at least to start.

We love you
