Happy 6 Weeks Faith!

Faith had a good "6 week old" birthday today. They did administer the first dose of dexamethasone today around 2pm. The drug works very fast- her doctors told us they will be able to see a difference within 6 hours. Tomorrow they will try to put her on CPAP! :) We will be sure to take pictures of little Faith breathing on her own tomorrow!

Thanks for your prayers- this is a BIG week for Faith!

Hi Jen and Brian,

Nelson sent me the link for the blog. Happy 6 weeks to Faith! It sounds like this week will be a crucial one. We'll keep praying for you. It's great to be able to get updates via the blog--I'd been wondering how Faith was doing! BTW, my sister also has a bicornate uterus. She delivered two babies, both at 24 weeks. They didn't need the interventions Faith needs, but I thought you might be encouraged to know that they are healthy 9- and 5- year olds now! --Amy Van Vranken
